Medicine
University of Cambridge
About the course
This medical course is a six-year program designed to produce skilled clinicians with a strong scientific foundation. The course is divided into two main phases.
The first three years focus on scientific principles underlying medicine, alongside a clinical strand. During this phase, students have the opportunity to conduct a full-body dissection, a rare offering among medical schools.
The final three years are dedicated to clinical practice. Students spend most of their time learning directly from patients in GP surgeries and hospitals, applying their knowledge to real-world medical scenarios.
