Oxford's Physics program explores the universe across all scales, seeking to unravel its complexities and understand its fundamental workings. The Physics Department, one of the UK's largest, offers a diverse research program across six sub-departments: Astrophysics, Atmospheric/Oceanic/Planetary Physics, Atomic/Laser Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, Particle Physics, and Theoretical Physics. ›
The Oxford Physics curriculum is rigorous and mathematically focused, emphasizing core concepts such as optics and relativity. Two undergraduate paths are available: a four-year MPhys and a BA.
